Description
Summary:Music is being cast in a starring role on television, and in some cases it is not independent music that you will not easily find elsewhere. Music has long been used to enhance visual media. Now on some television shows, music has gone from an occasional song pushing forward a montage scene to become a full-fledged character actor. The benefit of the new hybrid of music-embraced television is that it exposes a lot of great music to people who would not otherwise hear it, and the bands walk away with a national audience. This evolution of music and media allows people to identify more with television characters and hear great music at the same time.
