For example, According to Carolyn Roberts, president and CEO of Copley Health Systems, CEOs need to help the board members understand how managed care is changing the health care field and their role as trustees. What is making things more difficult for everybody is that a fully capitated environment has not been totally fulfilled. Managed care has grown very quickly in some markets and not so quickly in others. The challenge, then, is how CEOs - and their boards - get from one place to another. |
