Summary: | Steve Swika of S&S Amusements, reacting to the horrible spring weather on the East Coast, jokingly said his show might schedule a bankruptcy festival in the near future. Since starting in 1957 with two rides - a Ferris wheel and a helicopter - growth has been slow, but steady, and the Swikas now have 40 rides, usually setting up a top of 35. Relatives of Swika, Larry and Joanne Koza, are with the show for the first year after spending years with Pat Reithoffer's Blue Unit of Reithoffer Shows. |
