Clearly the SMA has serious concerns about its future managerial pool. One of the hot-button sessions during the organization's conference was chaired by Dr Michael Jackson, director of the sports administration program at Temple University in Pennsylvania. Jackson discussed the SMA's ongoing internship program -- and its financial support -- which is critical for keeping facility management curricula alive at many schools that offer sports business studies.
