Summary: | Change can mean happiness for some people, but most dread the thought of having to alter comfortable, familiar routines. As change is acknowledged, strategies must be developed and implemented. Organizations need to establish a clear strategy and direction through their structure, culture, relationships, and purpose. Communication is a key part of getting off on the right foot when change is imminent. A guiding coalition of people with enough power to lead the change effort is necessary to avert failure. Once change has been absorbed and implemented, the company vision should be reviewed and, if necessary, revised. |
