Bradford, an embattled associate professor of law at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, who said colleagues had discriminated against him because of his conservative political views, his military service, and his minority status as an American Indian, has resigned. William C. Powers Jr., law-school dean at the University of Texas at Austin, was chosen as the next president of the institution last week by the university system's Board of Regents. The incoming president has been dean of the law school since 2000 and has served on the school's faculty since 1977. |
