Preventing the spread of hepatitis B

A comprehensive federal program to vaccinate all juveniles against hepatitis B virus, combined with a concerted effort on the part of correctional administrators to vaccinate at-risk adults under their custody, will go a long way toward eliminating the disease and its costly complications.
