Summary:The mobile industry has taken a bit of a kicking in recent months. The young operators who were once the darlings of the world's stock exchanges have fallen from grace. But, a new ray of hope is filtering through - wireless services to enterprise customers are about to become very big news. There are two main drivers propelling the corporate mobile market onto the radar screens of mobile equipment vendors, application developers and service providers. One is the demand from the top brass at large and medium-sized companies for greater productivity and the other, the killer application, comes from the ranks of the business users themselves.
