Summary:Another major national broadcaster, the NTV, now uses the Oktyabrskoye Pole transmitter site (the former jammer complex), operating at 100W UHF transmitter promptly brought from St. Petersburg and installed on a 150-meter tower. The UHF channel 35 is converted to the VHF "R" channel 5. The TNT network transmitted from the Oktyabrskoye Pole even before the fire in Ostankino on UHF 33. This facility was granted to other stations, such as NTV, right after the fire.
