Summary: | ADT's pre-printed form contract specifically stated that it was not binding unless "approved in writing" by an ADT authorized representative. Nowhere in the contract did it state that ADT would be bound if it performed under the agreement, even without an authorized signature. No authorized representative of ADT ever signed the original contract where required, but representatives of both parties subsequently signed riders to the original contract for additional services and equipment. |
