Summary: | The demands of doing business in a global workplace are challenging training professionals, team builders, and organizational consultants around the world. The ability to adapt methods and to work effectively in a cross-cultural or multicultural setting has become critical. Unfortunately, there is no simple 10-step approach to understanding global cultures as they relate to training. It is necessary to gain the appropriate cross-cultural skills and understanding to be effective in international training settings. Examples are presented of how selected companies have adapted training for multicultural settings. |
