Summary:The prestigious Credit Executive of the Year Award was established by the National Association of Credit Management (NACM) in 1985 to recognize the contributions of outstanding members. The 4 recipients of the award for 1992 were selected according to geographic region. From the eastern region, the recipient is Patricia E. Bowen, credit managager for Kraft Food Service Inc. (Hanover, Maryland). Bowen has published articles for the NACM regional newsletter. Rodney B. Wheeland, credit manager for Pendleton Woolen Mills (Portland, Oregon) received the award for the western region. He is involved in furthering the education of credit managers. The central region recipient is Gary D. Grissom, director of US credit operations for S. C. Johnson Wax (Racine, Wisconsin). Harry F. Bradford, assistant vice-president fo McGriff, Seibels, and Williams (Birmingham, Alabama) and the southern region winner, has promoted the credit profession through articles published in Credit Views and News.
