Dahanu has been successful because, as the flagship station of Reliance Energy Ltd's fleet, it showcases efforts to generate power reliably, cleanly, and cost-effectively, without compromising the health of our neighbors or the safety of its workers. Dahanu was the first power plant in India to adopt the ISO 9001 quality management system and ISO 14001 environmental management system. Dahanu's environmental management system helps keep the plant's airborne emissions within the prescribed limits of Maharashtra's Pollution Control Board and India's National Ambient Air Quality Standards.
