Government officials in the ad-hoc policy team tasked to deal with the Terminal 3 mess are Transportation Secretary Leandro R. Mendoza, Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita, Mr. [Purisima], and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Merceditas Gutierrez. Terminal 3 will become NAIA's main terminal serving international flights. The current international terminal, NAIA Terminal 1, will be closed. Terminal 2 or the Centennial Terminal will become Manila's domestic terminal, in accordance with the original plan agreed upon with the Japanese government, which funded its construction. |
