Attorney Jess Santos, Mr. Arroyo's spokesman, issued a denial yesterday even if reports have not named the First Gentleman as the Filipino who rented a $20,000-a-night villa at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. "We have not commented before because the name of the First Gentleman has not been mentioned. However, we have been receiving reports that First Gentleman Mike Arroyo is the person being alluded to," Mr. Santos said in a statement.
