In a seminar last week in VAW, Ms. Angara-Castillo said the focus is women as statistics show the prevalence of abuses against women in intimate relationships. On the use of the phrase "abuse of women in intimate relationships" Ms. Angara-Castillo said the explanation may be derived by defining both terms.
