Summary: | For users of plant services and maintenance equipment, a focal point for reducing costs and increasing efficiency is the dock area, using new equipment such as ramps, lifts, and levelers. Several models of dock boards are available for existing docks without built-in levelers or ramp installations. Wheel lifts are available to eliminate the necessity for excavating a pit to install a dock ramp. New features for docks include: 1. a dock safety hook which prevents the accidental pulling away of the trailer, 2. overhead rolling doors to block dock openings and conserve energy, and 3. personnel lifts which give workers more outreach from the main platform. New products which improve plant layout and planning include: 1. color-coded outline representations, 2. 3-dimensional scale models, and 3. vinyl strip curtain doors. Cleaning and maintenance is easier with several new sweepers and scrubbers. New energy conservation products include a modernized ceiling fan. |
