Summary:For a person who is dealing with diabetes, heart disease or hypertension, these are the foods they should be eating, but most often, it's not within their radar. In the summer, well be utilizing corn and tomatoes and sweet peas with different grains. We use farro, which is like spelt, brown rice, [Arborio] - we're even using a green bamboo rice in one of our Asian dishes. We're using bulgur wheat in a pilaf with edamame, shiitake mushrooms, feta cheese and fresh mint.
