An alphabetical index of websites using .museum as a domain name is available and can be both sorted by country name and searched by keyword to identify and locate museums around the world. Scroll down to the Contents which provides "an eclectic collection of WWW services connected with museums, galleries and archives" arranged by countries, as well as extensive listings of museums by type (e.g., computer-related museums or children's museums) and exhibits (e.g., selected virtual exhibits).
