Summary:Fortunately, after 10 very frustrating days, Bader was able to find a contact in the LinkedIn security department who helped him clear out this basement-dwelling squatter and restore control of his account. Not only was this a tremendous relief, but it has sent him on a quest to plug the leaks in his online boat. Nothing like a swift kick to the teeth to shift one from reactive to proactive mode. Since this incident, he has done a bit of research on how to mitigate this type of invasion in the future. Here, some of the challenges and solutions that made the most sense to him are offered.
