Rogers & Wells may be on a merger diet

Though it is still unclear whether or not New York law firm Rogers & Wells will merge with British firm Clifford Chance, the American firm has begun streamlining itself to become more profit-oriented. The merger has come to a temporary halt due to a litigation client conflict.
