Description
Summary:Leaders aren't often asked for their views on ethics these days -- unless it is by a congressional subcommittee -- and yet all organizations must be built on a culture of trust. At Dow Chemical, their Values are at the core of ethical behavior, and drive the way they treat each other, treat customers and suppliers, and treat their investors and communities. They've embedded ethical behavior -- the adherence to Dow's Values and Vision -- into their strategy and work, infusing them with the power of the Human Element. At Dow, they've entered into the third phase of ethics. Their Code of Business Conduct, developed then, remains a key framework of accountability. To keep growing, they had to integrate triple bottom line ethics to their business strategy.
