Description
Summary:Tom Kuhn, president of EEI said of his friend and staff member: "He brought passion and joy to everything he did, and he was universally respected and admired not only by all of our CEOs, with whom he worked regularly, but also by the EEI staff to whom he was so loyal. [Tony Anthony] was so deeply committed to his family; his wife, Julie, and their four children and six grandchildren. They meant everything to him." Exelon Corp. CEO John Rowe told The Energy Daily, "For several decades, Tony Anthony did for the utility industry what the industry does for the nation. He kept the lights on and the motors running for EEI. Tony had charge of meetings, conventions, wounded nerves and sometimes inflated egos. He tended to all with patience, humor and unfailing charm. All of us will miss him--we former chairs among the most."
