Summary:Hydrocarbon pneumonitis has become rare in industrialized countries. However, it remains one of the most frequent emergencies in African dispensaries, especially within children, by accidental ingestion. The case reported here is about a diesel aspiration after siphoning. As in most cases, the healing occurred without any complication.
