Summary:Comparison of the teratogenic and neurotoxic influence of thalidomide with the new hypnosedative preparation Biglumide (K-2004) revealed significant differences. Malformations could be seen only after treatment with thalidomide. Some results concerning the thalidomide-treated group of animals could be interpreted as a retardation of development in the posterior root ganglia.
