Description
Summary:Twenty-four male volunteer undergraduate students were equally divided into four groups-(a) hypnosis and task motivating instructions, (b) deep hypnosis and task motivating instructions, (c) task motivating instructions alone, and (d) control. Kinesthetic learning, as measured by a 10-choice-point stylus maze, was unaffected by the experimental conditions. Possible interpretations in light of recent work on physical endurance tasks are discussed.
