Summary:A regression analysis was used to determine the effects of stages of hypnotizability on similarity of heart rate between therapist and the hypnotic subject. While no significant correlations were found for heart rate covariations and hypnotic susceptability, it was found that personality factors independently contributed to heart rate similarity during hypnotic induction.
