Summary: | A study was made of the trends in cancer mortality in Birmingham, and six other cities in England and Wales, to determine whether fluoridation of the water supplies has had any effect on such mortality. The results, reported with tables, indicate that no one factor, such as water fluoridation, has affected the death rate from cancer in Birmingham since 1964.
