Description
Summary:Dynein‐Powered Cell Locomotion Human breast adenocarcinoma MDA‐MB‐231 cell demonstrates metastatic‐like adhesion, spreading and migration on the biomimetic collagen matrix. In article number 2302229 by Amir Sheikhi, Denis Tsygankov, Erdem D. Tabdanov, and co‐workers, non‐canonical breast cancer cells' locomotion mechanism has been identified, based on the motricity of the dynein motors that generate and transmit the mechanical forces between F‐actin and microtubules cytoskeletons. Dynein‐powered cell locomotion facilitates cell motility in the absence of the conventional myosin‐driven cell migration.
