Borylated cyclobutanes via thermal [2 + 2]-cycloaddition

A one-step approach to borylated cyclobutanes from amides of carboxylic acids and vinyl boronates is elaborated. The reaction proceeds the thermal [2 + 2]-cycloaddition of -generated keteniminium salts.
