Description
Summary:Yu et.al. presented reference ranges for serum lipids for patients 0 - 15 years old. Given that there have been few studies on the reference ranges of serum lipids for such patients, the results of this study are expected to be valuable. This study reports that serum lipids change with age from 0 to 15 years old. In particular, it was emphasized that total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and non-high density lipoprotein cholesterol (non-HDL-C) values are higher before 10 years old than after. Several previous studies have reported similar results.
