Summary: | With the rapid development of lead-based perovskite solar cells, tin-based perovskite solar cells are emerging as a non-toxic alternative. Material engineering has been an effective approach for the fabrication of efficient perovskite solar cells. This paper summarizes the novel materials used in tin-based perovskite solar cells over the past few years and analyzes the roles of various materials in tin-based devices. It is found that self-assembling materials and fullerene derivatives have shown remarkable performance in tin-based perovskite solar cells. Finally, this article discusses design strategies for new materials, providing constructive suggestions for the development of innovative materials in the future. |
