Understanding the NSAID related risk of vascular events

Concern is growing over the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack or stroke due to thrombosis during the use of COX inhibitors and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). A significant increase in risk has been found in clinical trials.
