Summary:Abstract The microsurgical anatomy of Dorello's canal was examined in 20 cadaver specimens. The study included dissections of this anatomic structure, under operative microscope and using microsurgical instruments. The detailed microanatomy of the canal was defined, as well as its relation to the sixth nerve, the clivus, the petrous apex, and the adjacent neurovascular elements.
