Summary: | In vitro
transformation of stimulated lymphocytes is frequently evaluated from their ability to incorporate thymidine. This technique measures only one pathway by which cells synthesize DNA-thymine. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the incorporation of various precursors into the DNA-thymine of stimulated leucocytes. It was found that the uptake of thymidine did provide an adequate assessment of total precursor incorporation. |
