Hidradenitis suppurativa associated with use of oral contraceptives

Hidradenitis suppurativa is a disorder affecting the axillary apocrine sweat glands, anogenital regions, and breasts, resulting in recurrent boils at these sites. The authors report seven cases that occurred in patients taking the combined oestrogen-progestogen pill.
