Blood flow in the muscles alongside tibial shaft fractures
The blood flow in the muscles alongside tibial shaft fractures has been measured in 40 adults in an attempt to estimate the severity of the soft tissue damage. The results give support to the concept that reduction of blood flow in injured muscle may contribute to delay in fracture union.
