How WASP Regulates Actin Polymerization

To investigate which region of the NH2 terminus is required for inhibition, different domains were expressed and examined for their ability to bind and inhibit the activity of the VCA fragment. NH2-terminal fragments that include the GBD bind VCA and inhibit its activity.
