Summary: | Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a seronegative spondyloarthropathy that predilects young men. It is difficult to diagnose in its early stages and challenging to manage, once detected. Two cases of patients with previously undiagnosed AS are presented. The role of the clinical history and examination, imaging, and paraclinical studies are discussed. Suggestions for management and outcome measures for patients with ankylosing spondylitis are presented. |
