Description
Summary:A series of programs has been written in the BASIC language for the IBM Personal Computer to perform data acquisition, reduction, storage, manipulation, and display for radioimmunoassays (and related procedures) in the clinical chemistry laboratory. The programs incorporate good numerical algorithms with appropriate weighting, 95% confidence limits on the standard curve, a formal error model with pooled statistics, and a “precision profile” for each run. They also provide a convenient user interface, reasonably modular structure, short- and long-term data storage facilities, automatic handling of quality control specimens, and graphic plots of the standard curve and QC data.
