Summary:The title Schiff base compound, C(22)H(28)N(2)O(4), lies across a crystallographic inversion centre and adopts an E configuration with respect to the C=N bond. Pairs of weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O inter-actions link neighbouring mol-ecules into dimers with an R(2) (2)(28) ring motif. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular C-H⋯π inter-actions. An intramolecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond occurs.
