Summary: | The nucleotide sequence of a 2.5 kbp Eco RI-Eco-RI fragment of mustard (Sinapis alba ) carrying the 3' end of 18S rRNA gene, the first internal transcribed spacer (ITS1), the 5.8S rRNA gene, the second internal transcribed spacer (ITS2) and the 5'end of the 25S rRNA gene is presented. The first internal transcribed spacer is 265 bp, the 5.8S rDNA is 163 bp and the second transcribed spacer (ITS2) is 188 bp long. The coding regions have been determined in homology to the equivalent genes of rice. |
