Nucleotide sequence of the Adh-1 gene of Drosophila navojoa
Drosophila navojoa (Species N) is a member of the mulleri subgroup of the repleta group and has a duplication at the Adh locus. D. navojoa is related to D. mulleri and to D. mojavensis . Summary: | Drosophila navojoa (Species N) is a member of the mulleri subgroup of the repleta group and has a duplication at the Adh locus. D. navojoa is related to D. mulleri and to D. mojavensis . An EMBL-4 genomic library was constructed, the Adh-1 gene was isolated, cloned into M13 mp 18 and sequenced using the dideoxy method. Sequencing was accomplished by synthesizing oligonucleotide primers along one strand. |
