de Schweinitz recalls his encounter with a patient named Floyd who made a great deal of the fact that de Schweinitz was very thin. Despite his straightforward manner, Floyd realized he had a terminal disease, and after Floyd's death his sister thanked de Schweinitz for the care he had rendered.
