Moghadamtousi et al. reviewed information and findings concerning current knowledge on the biological activities, pharmacological properties, toxicity, and chemical constituents of the eastern Nigerian species—Loranthus micranthus, which has been widely used in Nigeria and South Africa as ethnomedicine for treatment of hypertension, diabetes, and schizophrenia and as an immune system booster.
