Summary: | With due diligence given to the limitations of post hoc analyses, we presented data suggesting that OCSs did not reduce symptom severity during acute outpatient lower respiratory tract illnesses in preschool children with recurrent wheeze.1 Furthermore, we did not recommend abandonment of this therapeutic approach but rather suggested that our findings should serve as a note of caution and be followed by further prospective trials. |
