A prospective randomized controlled study of erythromycin on gastric and small intestinal distention: Implications for MR enterography

Highlights • Suboptimal small intestinal distention limits jejunal visualization during MRI. • In this controlled study, erythromycin increased gastric emptying measured with MRI. • However, effects on small intestinal dimensions were variable.
