Summary:Castleman disease is a rare benign lymphoproliferative disorder of unknown etiology. A 29-year-old woman presentedwith intermittent chest pain for 2 years. Upon examination, computed tomography showed an intensely enhanced solid mass that encased her right pulmonary artery. The tumor was resected safely and completely via standard thoracotomy with cardiopulmonary bypass.
