Description
Summary:History and Background Can you Tell us a Little About How you were Introduced to Behavior Analysis and What Motivated you at the Time to Pursue it as a Career? I had a basic introduction to behavioral approaches even in a high school psychology course. Another special characteristic of the program at that time was the lack of division between applied behavior analysis, basic or experimental work, theory, and practice. The training we received at UF laid the foundation for everything I’ve been able to do as a behavior analyst, in ways I could not have predicted, and my life continues to be enriched by the professional colleagues and friends I made there. [...]I would have to say that most all of the leaders in ABAI at the time were important in influencing me in some way, as ABAI provided another essential training ground in my development as a behavior analyst.
