, Group 2 from 0.3 to 3.8 mm
, and Group 3 from 0.2 to 1.1 mm
. A statistically significant difference in the mean size between Groups 1 and 3 was observed. Even if the AMF are smaller (e.g., 1 mm in diameter), they should still be avoided to prevent injury.
The clinician should be aware that smaller foramina might not be detected on these images. |
